Join The Church Day

Some people want to make a spiritual commitment to membership in a church but don’t feel comfortable walking down the aisle. Join the Church Day gives people the opportunity to become members at First Baptist Church without the anxiety associated with standing in front of a large crowd. We want to eliminate barriers which might keep people from experiencing the joys of church membership while at the same time being true to the desire of the Lord that we acknowledge Him before the world (Luke 12:8).
Those desiring to become members of First Baptist Church Sumrall on Join the Church Day will have seating space reserved in the sanctuary for the morning worship time. At the end of the service our Pastor will introduce them to the congregation. They will be asked to stand when their names are called so as to be identified to our church family.
If Join the Church Day is something you are interested in, call or come by the church office and talk to the Pastor or one of our Ministerial Staff members. They will be available to meet with you before April 8 in order to answer questions you may have concerning church membership. You will be provided with a New Member Information Form. Return this form to the church office on or before April 8.
